Pharma-Partners is exclusively recruiting for this vacancy. We are ideally looking for an experienced Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) looking to progress and take on more responsibility in role. Working alongside a team of Senior MSLs and MSLs, this role will support a specialised portfolio of treatments that relate to a wide variety of therapy areas. The MSL will focus on establishing and maintaining relationships with KOLs across the territory, support clinical development and commercialisation efforts, and acts as a scientific expert for the business. The territory for this role is Scotland & Northern Ireland and candidates must be based on patch. For more experienced candidates, this position can be recruited at a "Senior" MSL level which comes with additional strategic responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an internal and external therapeutic area expert
  • Engage with KOLs in scientific exchange, and develop and maintain meaningful relationships across the territory
  • Share relevant insights with medical and cross-functional teams
  • Support and deliver medical training of commercial field teams
  • Involvement in UK clinical research activities
  • Provide coaching and support to the wider field medical group
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs and the ABPI Code
  • Input into cross functional plans and provide scientific expertise and advice as needed
  • Represent the business and medical team at local, regional and global congress and symposia

The Candidate:

  • Relevant Science based degree with advanced degree level seen as desirable
  • Prior/current UK focused MSL experience is essential
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining KOL relationships
  • Strong collaborator and team player
  • Experience in and knowledge of the different UK healthcare systems - ideally with prior experience across the Celtic region
  • Effectively assimilate scientific and clinical data to the relevant audience
