The Senior Medical Advisor will lead the development and execution of the brand and medical plans in alignment with UK&I medical strategy. Taking ownership for key medical affairs projects, the Senior Medical Advisor will lead a variety of different activities, provide therapy area expertise to cross functional teams, work closely with the field medical/MSL team and adhere to the ABPI Code and internal governance. For this role, our client is seeking a current Medical Advisor/Senior Medical Advisor with UK focused experience and Final Signatory status (or eligibility to become one). This position requires 1-2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute brand and medical plans
- Own and drive medically led initiatives
- Lead delivery of evidence generation activities (RWE, IIS etc.)
- Proactive engagement with global medical team
- Organise and run medical advisory boards
- Collaborate with the MSL team
- Provide medical and scientific expertise to the medical and cross functional team
- Effectively collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, and other key internal teams
- Collaborate with Market Access teams and input into HTA submissions as required
- Provide internal training and specialist therapy area support
- Review and approve of materials as a Final Signatory
The Candidate:
- UK registered Physician or Pharmacist
- Must have experience working as a UK Medical Advisor (or equivalent)
- ABPI Final Signatory (or eligibility to become one)
- Project management, prioritisation, and teamworking skills
- Strong scientific acumen
