Pharma-Partners Recruitment is exclusively supporting an innovative, science-led biotech in the search for an experienced Director of Medical Affairs to lead medical strategy across Europe and International markets. This is a high-profile strategic role within a growing global Medical Affairs function, offering the opportunity to influence both pre- and post-launch activities across an exciting oncology and immuno-oncology portfolio.
The Opportunity:
- Lead the development and execution of regional Medical Affairs strategy aligned with global objectives.
- Build and strengthen relationships with leading European KOLs, academic institutions and healthcare stakeholders.
- Drive medical communications, publications, congress strategy and scientific engagement activities.
- Lead externally sponsored research programmes and provide strategic input into lifecycle management and clinical development.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Clinical Development, Regulatory and Market Access teams in a highly collaborative matrix environment.
Requirements:
- MD, PharmD or PhD qualification.
- Several years Medical Affairs experience within a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
- Deep expertise in Oncology and/or Immuno-Oncology.
- Experience supporting product launches and commercialised medicines.
- Strong knowledge of European regulatory requirements, including ABPI and EFPIA.
- Proven success building KOL relationships and working across international markets.
