Our client based in Sittingbourne is currently looking for part-time Class 1 Drivers.
Responsibilities
- Refrigerated distribution across a variety of locations.
- Delivering to RDCs and collecting to and from farms.
- Shifts are on average 10 to 12 hours long.
- Some flexibility for start times as they may vary.
- Mainly a driving role with minimal handling of the load.
Shift Details
- Shifts are predominantly Friday, Saturday & Sunday, with ad-hoc shifts available during the working week.
- Day start times: 01:00 – 05:00 hours.
- Afternoon start times: 14:00 – 18:00 hours.
- Night shift start times: 19:00 – midnight.
Requirements
- Full Class 1 driving licence (minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience).
- Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
- No more than 6 points or endorsement codes DD or DR.
- Compliance with all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
- Good roadcraft/geographical knowledge.
Assessment
All candidates are required to pass the client’s assessment prior to commencing, which includes a written and practical driving test. (3-hour assessments are held Monday to Friday, day and night).
Pay Rates
- Days – £16.70 per hour (Monday to Friday).
- Nights – £17.80 per hour (Monday to Friday).
- Saturday Day – £20.00 per hour / Night – £20.70 per hour.
- Sunday + Bank Holiday Day – £23.62 per hour / Nights – £25.87 per hour.
