About PHAR Partnerships
PHAR Partnerships is a leading global agency specialising in creating and delivering innovative sponsorships and brand partnerships that drive measurable results. We work with some of the world’s most recognisable brands, destinations, and rights holders - helping them unlock commercial opportunities through insight-led strategy and creative thinking. Our work spans travel, transport, entertainment, culture and destinations, and we advise both rights holders and brands on how partnerships should be structured, valued and brought to life.
The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded Research Executive or Manager to join PHAR’s Insight team. This role sits at the heart of our consultancy work. You’ll support the team by researching information, analysing data, evaluating sponsorship opportunities, and translating insight into clear, practical recommendations that help clients make better commercial decisions. The role involves a combination of desk research and data analysis. The successful candidate will be proficient with numbers, and also strong at researching information from the internet and other sources. You’ll be encouraged to develop a point of view, contribute to discussions, attend client presentations, and - over time - build the confidence to advise clients directly. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys carrying out their own research and working with data, but also wants to understand how insight is used in real-world commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse sponsorship, audience, media, and market data to support client projects and proposals
- Carry out desk research, including marketplace benchmarking and general industry reports and information, to support wider consultancy-led client projects
- Evaluate sponsorship opportunities, including rights, pricing, value and strategic fit
- Contribute to sponsorship impact and effectiveness projects by analysing consumer research surveys and identifying key insights
- Maintain and update PHAR’s internal sponsorship database, ensuring data accuracy and relevance
- Help turn analysis into clear insights, charts and narratives for presentations and reports
- Support the Partnership Sales teams with data, insight and evidence to strengthen proposals
- Attend internal and external meetings and presentations, with exposure to client discussions
- Stay up to date with industry trends, partnerships activity and best practice
About You
You’re analytical and detail-oriented, but also curious-minded, engaged and comfortable discussing ideas. You enjoy understanding why things work, not just reporting the numbers. You’re interested in sponsorship, brands and commercial partnerships, and you want to work in a consultancy environment where insight is used to influence real decisions. You’re confident enough to share opinions, open to learning, and keen to develop client-facing skills over time.
Essential Skills & Experience
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
- Good Microsoft Office skills (specifically PowerPoint and Excel) and the ability to present information clearly and logically
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- A proactive mindset and willingness to ask questions and contribute ideas
- Experience in research, insight, consultancy, sponsorship, or marketing (including internships or placements) is beneficial, but not essential
Why Join PHAR?
At PHAR, insight underpins everything we do. You’ll work closely with senior consultants, partnerships specialists and commercial leaders, gaining exposure to high-profile clients and real-world commercial challenges.
We offer:
- A collaborative, supportive consultancy environment
- Exposure to major brands, destinations and global sponsorship deals
- Clear opportunities for learning, development and progression
- A hybrid working model and inclusive team culture
- Competitive salary and benefits
