About PHAR Partnerships
PHAR Partnerships is a leading global agency specialising in creating, managing and optimising brand partnerships that drive measurable commercial impact. We work with some of the world’s most recognisable brands, destinations and rights-holders, helping them unlock value from sponsorship and partnerships.
Our clients include Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport, Manchester Airport, Merlin Entertainments, the BRIT Awards, Transport for London, RNLI, Singapore Sports Hub, Gardens by the Bay and King Salman Park, alongside global brands such as Uber, Marriott Hotels, Revolut, Indeed and Allianz. While much of our work sits across travel, transport, entertainment and destinations, we also advise on and manage selected high-profile sports partnerships where our commercial and strategic approach can add real value.
The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Sponsorship Activation Manager to join PHAR’s Partnerships team. This role is focused on the day-to-day management and activation of a major football sponsorship that PHAR is managing on behalf of a client. You’ll sit at the centre of the partnership, working closely with the brand, the football club, and internal teams to ensure the sponsorship is delivered effectively and activated in a way that drives clear commercial outcomes.
This is a hands‑on role with real responsibility. You’ll oversee activation planning and delivery, manage key stakeholders, and help ensure the partnership evolves over time rather than standing still. While execution is critical, this is not a purely operational role - you’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas, shape activation strategy, and develop a clear point of view on what best‑in‑class football sponsorship looks like.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management and delivery of a football sponsorship, acting as a key point of contact between the brand, club and PHAR.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver sponsorship activation across matchdays, digital channels, content, and wider marketing activity.
- Manage rights delivery, ensuring contractual assets are activated effectively and in line with agreed objectives.
- Work with internal teams to develop activation ideas, content plans and campaign timelines.
- Oversee multiple workstreams and stakeholders, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Track activation performance and contribute to post‑campaign evaluation and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to optimise, evolve or extend activation activity throughout the season.
- Stay up to date with trends and best practice in football sponsorship and brand partnerships.
About You
You’re organised, confident and commercially switched on, with experience delivering sponsorship or partnership activity - ideally within football or sport. You enjoy making things happen, managing multiple moving parts, and working closely with different stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
You’re comfortable taking ownership, but also curious and collaborative, with an interest in understanding not just what is delivered, but why it works and how it can be improved.
Proven experience working in sponsorship, partnerships, brand activation or sports marketing. Experience managing relationships with rights‑holders, clubs, brands or agencies. Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills. High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset. Experience working in football is highly desirable, but strong sponsorship experience from other sectors will also be considered.
Why Join PHAR?
At PHAR Partnerships, you’ll be part of a collaborative, entrepreneurial team where creativity and commercial thinking go hand in hand. You’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting, high‑profile projects across travel, transport, entertainment, and global brands - helping shape partnerships that reach millions of people around the world.
We offer:
- Exposure to major brands and high‑profile partnerships
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial team culture
- Real opportunities for progression and responsibility
- A hybrid working model
- Competitive salary and benefits
