Here at PH Water and Air Technologies , were seeking a Lead Water Treatment Remedial Engineer to join our team where youll be based in various onsite locations throughout South London (Croydon, Crawley area).Primarily youll be working as a remedial plumber where your expertise, skills and experience will be utilised fully. No two days are the same and leading a team to overcome challenges adds another interesting dimension to your role. If youve been a commercial based plumber or youve held the position of Water Treatment Engineer this opportunity may be ideal for you. What we offer: Were looking to offer a salary of between £32,000-£35,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, and expenses. Key areas of responsibility: Plumbing works to include Dead end/leg removal, replacing ball valves, installing insect screens, tank vents, lagging, replacing TMVs, TMV inspection and servicing, replacing tap, re-routing pipework, replacing water heaters, softener installation, equipment installation and tank replacement Visual inspection of water systems, water sampling, cleaning and disinfecting of outlets, shower heads and chemical dosing Cooling tower cleaning and disinfecting including analysis Cleaning and disinfecting pipework systems, cold water storage tanks and cooling towers in adherence with British Standards Experience required for the role: Youll need to be qualified to a minimum of NVQ 2 Plumbing or equivalent Full UK Driving License is required as youll be travelling to site daily You need to be happy to carry, climb and lift as this can be a physical role Its important that you are happy to build professional relationships, confident in discussing and understanding technical issues and providing detailed engineering reports Do you see yourself reflected in the description above?
