Job Details

  • Position: Housekeeper
  • Location: Inglewood Care Home
  • Hours: 10am – 4pm, 4 shifts per week with every other weekend
  • Total hours: 24 to 30 per week
  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Salary: £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain assigned areas according to established standards and procedures
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitise floors and surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
  • Change bed linens and make beds
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
  • Replenish supplies such as towels, toilet paper, and soap
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications & Skills

  • Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and tidiness
  • Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and long periods of standing
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and residents
  • Experience: Cleaning experience preferred
