Job Details
- Position: Housekeeper
- Location: Inglewood Care Home
- Hours: 10am – 4pm, 4 shifts per week with every other weekend
- Total hours: 24 to 30 per week
- Job Type: Part-time
- Salary: £12.21 per hour
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas according to established standards and procedures
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitise floors and surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish supplies such as towels, toilet paper, and soap
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and tidiness
- Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and long periods of standing
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and residents
