At PGS Group, we are seeking a proactive Sorter/Repairer to join our team at our pallet site in the Essex area (Grays).
As part of a vertically integrated, fast-growing group that operates from \”tree to truck,\” you will contribute to our mission of efficiency and quality.
What tasks will you perform?
- Coordinating and sorting pallets for repair, pallets for sale in unchanged condition and pallets for destruction.
- Recovering pallets on the appropriate tables.
- Identifying, counting, arranging the sorted pallets.
- Notifying the person in charge of the work of observations and suggestions when new formats or lots are discovered.
Who are we looking for?
- Respecting internal safety regulations and wearing personal protective equipment.
- Can work independently, but is also a team player.
- Has a hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of pallet management procedures, pallet dimensions and quality control points.
- Knowledge of pallet dimensions and how to identify their quality.
- You can handle a pneumatic nailer, pry bar, saber saw and a stapler.
