At PGS Group, we are seeking a proactive Maintenance Responsible to join our team at our pallet site in the Essex area (Grays).
As part of a vertically integrated, fast-growing group that operates from \”tree to truck,\” you will contribute to our mission of efficiency and quality.
What tasks will you perform?
- Preparation of maintenance and repair schedules and development of the maintenance plan, including curative, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
- Managing maintenance technicians and subcontractors. Includes training, supervision, and technical support.
- Overseeing the production process and implementing improvements.
- Optimizing machines.
- Supervision.
- Spare parts warehouse management. Purchasing in collaboration with Procurement, monitoring consumption, and stock management.
- Monitoring investments in technical equipment (machines and buildings). Includes preparing RFQs, analyzing quotations, and managing projects.
- Reporting to the plant manager.
- Managing technical documentation and administrative tasks.
Who are we looking for?
- Technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical insight.
- Excellent people skills and team motivation abilities.
- Safety and quality conscious.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership skills for team management.
- Stress-resistant.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Languages: English, and possibly other foreign languages.
