Location: PGR Accountants, Ballymena office centre of Ballymena

Job Spec: The post holder's duties will include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Monthly bookkeeping using cloud technology, QuickBooks
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns, via QuickBooks
  • Quarterly Making Tax Digital submissions via QuickBooks
  • Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships & limited companies for manager review
  • Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns

Requirements:

  • Candidates should be a qualified accounts technician or working towards completing their studies
  • Work experience in an accountancy practice environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Committed to a career in accountancy
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting packages desirable, such as QuickBooks / SAGE

Benefits & Remuneration:

  • Starting salary from £26,000 depending on experience

  • Office hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm Friday
