PGM are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Site Manager for our expanding Construction Team. This is a newly created role due to continued growth, and a great opportunity for somebody to kick-start their career in the new-build construction sector. This is a perfect role for somebody truly looking to develop and grow within a company.
Established in 2000, we have grown over the past 25 years to be a preferred leading Carpentry Contractor, turning over £15 million, with key Clients being Bellway, Taylor Wimpey, Barratts, Redrow and Countryside/Vistry, to name a few. We regularly work over 40 live sites at a time, across Essex, London & Suffolk. Our teams have grown year on year; we are proud that we can offer great progression and regularly promote from within.
Duties to include:
- Learning scope of works
- Organising labour for different clients
- Managing stock of materials
- Supervise site teams
- Effectively communicate with various stakeholders
- Looking ahead on programme requirements
- Liaising with wider Construction team
- Learning and understanding drawing details to effectively oversee site teams
- Quality assurance reports
The successful applicant will be required to hold a CSCS card, which PGM will support obtaining if they do not currently hold this, along with any other required certifications. There will also be the opportunity to study and gain a relevant NVQ qualification.
Salary: Depending on experience
Location: There are multiple openings for our Trainee Programme, based across our sites from East London into Essex
