PGM are currently looking to recruit an Estimator for our successful Commercial Team. This is a newly created role due to continued growth, and a great opportunity for somebody to continue and grow their new-build construction career, specifically in surveying and estimating.
Established in 2000, we have grown over the past 25 years to be a preferred leading Carpentry Contractor, turning over £15 million, with key Clients being Bellway, Taylor Wimpey, Barratts, Redrow and Countryside/Vistry, to name a few. We regularly work over 40 live sites at a time, across Essex, London & Suffolk. Our teams have grown year on year; we are proud that we can offer great progression and regularly promote from within.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Location: Based at our Head Office in Rayleigh, Essex. Hybrid working options available.
Type: Permanent role, Monday-Friday working 8-5pm
Duties to include:
- Measurement/take offs from tender drawings
- Preparation & submission of tender bids, including a review of scopes, specifications and all other tender documentation
- Attending post tender/pre-start meetings
- Checking contractual/order documents
- Pricing drawing revisions
- Management of variation accounts
- Liaising with Contracts Managers regularly
- Attending meetings with clients up to and beyond job award
Experience: Experience in the new-build construction sector is essential. Experience in Carpentry would be preferable.
