Position Overview: Fullâtime Permanent Contract at PGL. Salary: ÂŁ35,034 per annum (liveâoff rate). Accommodation and meal packages are optional, available at a generous rate with zero charge for bills or utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Chefs and Catering Assistants: organise rotas, set clear objectives, identify training needs.
- Ensure high standards of food hygiene, manage complex dietary requirements, and maintain safety, allergen and foodâsafety compliance.
- Oversee financial aspects of the catering operation, including production planning, waste reduction and stock management.
- Collaborate with the catering team to execute proven menus and provide delicious, nutritious meals.
- Manage working hours, including limited late nights and an off schedule for Fridays or Saturdays, and no work over Christmas.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a midâtoâlarge scale dining environment.
- Proven ability in food mass production.
- A confident leader with strong organisational and decisionâmaking skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and handling of complex dietary requirements, including allergies and intolerances.
- Holder of City & Guilds 7061/2 (or equivalent) and Level 3 or above in Food Safety and Allergen Management.
