Earn £15.81 per hour with the opportunity for voluntary paid overtime. Work an average of 40 hours per week over 5 days. Fixed Term contract from 10th July to 15th August 2025. Accommodation & meal packages available (optional) at a generous rate with zero charge for bills or utilities.

Being an EFL Teacher at PGL requires energy, confidence, and effort; but we guarantee it’s never, ever boring. Our EFL courses combine classroom-based English language lessons, sightseeing excursions, and our famous PGL outdoor activities to bring learning to life! You will prepare and deliver fun and engaging lessons to our international guests, both in the classroom and outdoors, encouraging and motivating them to improve their English understanding.

You will receive a 3-day induction and support from an on-site Director of Studies who will guide you through pre-written weekly or fortnightly programmes for you to deliver (A1-B2 level), with the option to include your own resources that meet our Can Do philosophy. Class sizes are a maximum of 15 students.

To be a PGL person, you’ll need your Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TSEOL or equivalent (PGCE in English/Modern Languages, Primary PGCE leading to QTS) combined with previous experience of teaching or delivering training in a classroom setting.
