We are currently looking to appoint a Resourcing Officer to join a busy, dynamic department, responsible for meeting PGL's staffing requirements. It is crucial to ensure that PGL can attract, retain and develop staff across all departments. Resourcing Officers are responsible for the full range of recruitment, from vetting through to offer, ensuring our guests continue to receive the experience they expect at PGL. Reporting to the Resourcing Team Leader, the successful applicant will concentrate on recruiting activity and hospitality staff for our PGL centres alongside key administrative responsibilities. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, efficient people person who works well under pressure, has excellent communication skills and has a fine attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment and vetting of new and returning applicants;
  • Working closely with General Managers and centre HR teams to discuss staffing requirements;
  • Using relevant reports to ensure that staffing levels are achieved;
  • Conducting interviews to select the strongest candidates, making sure that they are placed in the most suitable role;
  • Proactive communication with candidates to ensure they have all the information that they require and that they have given us all the details that we need prior to them starting in their new role;
  • Contracting of successful candidates;
  • Attending open days and career events;

Qualifications

Previous recruitment or customer service experience would be an advantage, as would prior experience in an operational role within PGL.
