Responsibilities
- You’ll play a key role in supporting our Procurement team, working with colleagues across our Centres to understand their needs and ensure consistent, high‑quality procurement support.
- You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through clear, professional communication, acting as a reliable point of contact on pricing, orders and service delivery.
- The role offers the opportunity to work independently, confidently negotiate with suppliers to challenge costs, improve service levels and secure the best value for PGL Beyond.
- You’ll also assist with the day‑to‑day management of a range of procurement contracts, ensuring compliance and accurate record keeping, while providing essential central administrative function that enables the team to operate efficiently and successfully.
Qualifications
- Able to manage a varied workload and remain effective when working to deadlines.
- A confident and clear communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- IT‑savvy, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications and business IT systems.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to assist with a wide range of tasks within the role.
- Previous experience working in a Procurement environment or similar.
- Able to demonstrate effective negotiation skills and a confident approach when working with suppliers.
- Highly organised, with a thorough and methodical approach to work.
- Comfortable working independently and using initiative to get things done.
- Experience communicating externally with suppliers and wider business stakeholders.
