Chef – Catering Team (PGL)
As a Chef at PGL you will be part of a friendly and supportive catering team, reporting to the Head Chef.
You will provide first‑class nutritious meals for our many hungry guests without the pressure of menu creation or sourcing ingredients from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Food preparation, cooking, stock ordering, and organisation.
- Cost control and coaching of junior team members.
- Working a minimum number of late nights, with a Friday or Saturday evening off most weeks (especially outside of our peak season) and limited work over Christmas.
- Enjoy the buzz of working in a busy kitchen as part of a fun and friendly team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experienced caterer, ideally gained in a high‑volume environment.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and handling allergens and dietary requirements.
- Strong organisational skills, managing your own time and workload effectively, working well under pressure.
- Ideally hold a Level3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering.

Earn £14.65 per hour.
Full‑time fixed‑term contract until 31st October2026.
