Pay and Contract
We’re so proud to say that we are real Living Wage accredited. This means we will continue to pay well above the National Minimum Wage, so our pay rate is £13.45 per hour, with the opportunity for paid overtime (6 day working) during our peak periods. Part‑Year Permanent Contract from until 16/10. Accommodation & meal packages available (optional) at a generous rate with zero charge for bills or utilities.
About the Role
Our Facilities Assistants are the hands‑on heroes who help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring our centres are always safe, clean and welcoming for our guests. They’re the go‑to problem solvers – sweeping in to fix what’s broken, tidy what’s messy, and flag anything that’s not quite right. Whether it’s a leaky tap, a scuffed floor or an unexpected emergency, they’re ready to lend a hand and keep our spaces in top shape, every single day. You’ll also need a UK Driving Licence to drive our centre vehicles. It’s busy, physical work, but it’s never boring!
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of centre facilities.
- Performing routine repairs and minor maintenance.
- Responding to emergencies and troubleshooting issues.
- Assisting with set‑up and tear‑down of activities.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate
No experience needed; your character and attitude are what we value most. Passionate about adventure and the great outdoors. Friendly and thrives in team environments. Determined and resilient – able to cope during peak periods. Additional qualifications: Valid UK Driving Licence. Physical fitness to handle daily tasks.
