About the Role
We are searching for an EFL Director of Studies to oversee our successful and popular English Language Programme, combining classroom based English language lessons, excursions and our famous PGL outdoor activities, to bring learning to life! You will have overall responsibility for the running of fun, safe and well-structured courses on centre, through managing a team of EFL teachers (including potentially teaching some sessions yourself). You will contribute to an enriching experience for our guests and their tour leaders / agents, and receive support through a 4‑day induction, an annual CPD review meeting and central assistance from our Academic Manager.
Qualifications
- Hold a Cambridge DELTA/Trinity Diploma, TESOL/TEFL Q, PGCE plus CELTA or equivalent qualification
- Experienced in delivering classroom based learning
- Previous line management experience; setting tasks and objectives and ensuring these are delivered to high standards
- Organised, self‑motivated and diligent
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Full UK driving licence desirable and happy to travel and work between a number of our beautiful centres
