Make a difference as an EFL Teacher at PGL. Earn £16.25 per hour with the opportunity for voluntary paid overtime. Working an average of 40 hours per week over 5 days. Fixed Term contract between 13/07/26 - 28/07/26 or 15/07/26 - 24/07/26. Accommodation & meal packages available (optional) at a generous rate with zero charge for bills or utilities.
Working with kids requires energy, confidence and effort; but we guarantee it’s never, ever boring. Our EFL courses combine classroom based English language lessons, sightseeing excursions and our famous PGL outdoor activities to bring learning to life! You’ll prepare and deliver fun and engaging lessons to our international guests, both in the classroom and outdoors, encouraging and motivating them to improve their English understanding.
You will get a 3-day induction and support from an on-site Director of Studies who will guide you through pre‑written weekly or fortnightly programmes for you to deliver (A1‑B2 level) with the option for you to include your own resources that meet our ‘Can Do’ philosophy. Class sizes are a maximum of 15 students.
To qualify, you’ll need your ‘Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TSEOL’ or equivalent (PGCE in English/Modern Languages, Primary PGCE leading to QTS) combined with previous experience of teaching or delivering training in a classroom setting. We will also consider other qualifications where the applicant has a minimum of 1 year’s relevant EFL teaching experience.
