PGL is a leading Health & Safety training provider across the Midlands delivering a wide range of qualifications, NVQs, and business support services. We are looking to expand our team with an experienced and motivated Health & Safety Trainer. This role focuses on delivering high-quality health and safety training across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

  • You will deliver a wide range of compulsory health and safety training courses, including:
    • Abrasive Wheels
    • CAT & Genny (Cable Avoidance)
    • Working at Height
    • Harness Safety
    • Banksman / Traffic Marshall
    • Fire Warden
    • CITB Accredited Courses – big advantage
    • Specialist sector courses (e.g. EUSR and similar industry-specific training) – internal training will be provided, but the ideal candidate should be able to deliver at least 50% of the above already.

Essential Requirements

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. AET or equivalent) – Mandatory
  • A minimum NEBOSH qualification – Mandatory
  • Proven experience delivering training in a professional environment – Mandatory
  • A strong construction background (groundworks, civils, or similar) – Highly desirable
  • A practical, hands-on approach – real-world experience is valued above academic titles
  • Friendly, a great communicator and with an appreciation of the wider business and approach

Location & Travel

Primarily based within the Midlands (~80%). Occasional travel may be required to Doncaster and London-based partner/satellite centres.
