What you can expect:
As an Analyst on the Portfolio Management team, you will support day-to-day portfolio monitoring and reporting for a large, diversified credit portfolio. You will combine strong analytical fundamentals with modern technology to improve speed, consistency, and insight across a global portfolio of private credit investments.
What you will do:
- Support ongoing portfolio monitoring activities, including financial model updates, covenant compliance verification, and periodic performance reviews.
- Prepare recurring portfolio updates and monitoring reports with accurate data and clear analytical narrative.
- Track early indicators of underperformance. Support timely escalation and modifications as issues emerge.
- Build and maintain benchmarking and comparative analyses used in portfolio monitoring and reporting.
- Maintain complete and accurate records. Help improve data quality and reduce manual rework by identifying recurring gaps, proposing process fixes, and supporting automation efforts.
- Support experiments and pilots that apply AI to portfolio reporting, thematic analysis, and exception detection. Use AI tools to accelerate drafting and summarization from source materials, while applying judgment and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management team members and partner teams to ensure smooth portfolio workflows and clear ownership of required inputs.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with some relevant experience (finance, accounting, portfolio monitoring, restructuring advisory, banking, credit, power and project finance, data technology or adjacent analytical roles).
- Strong financial analysis capabilities, including proficiency in interpreting financial statements and evaluating business risks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Comfort learning and applying new technology tools with demonstrated interest in AI and automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information. Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality or controls.
- Participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) programme or other professional certifications.
- Fluency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Spanish, German, French, Italian.

- Annual Leave of 25 to 28 days, based on years of service, at full pay.
- Retirement Savings Plan: Employees receive a company contribution of 10% basic annual salary and a maximum employer-matching contribution of 5% of basic annual salary.
- Life Assurance & Income Protection: Life Assurance for 8 times your basic annual salary, up to a max benefit of £1.8million. 60% of your basic annual salary for a limited payment terms of 5 years, at the end of which a capital sum of 2x your basic annual salary is payable.
