The primary responsibilities of the team will be to support all our regulatory reporting obligations with a focus on EMIR, SFTR and ASIC.What you can expectChange Management focus of EMIR, ASIC, SFTR, FMIA and MIFID II and any future regimes on-boarded by the teamProviding regulatory guidelines analysis and working directly with technology on requirements and implementation.Communicating any identified Regulatory issues with Operational Risk and working with key internal stakeholders to address issues and mitigate risk.Completing testing in UAT and monitoring production for updatesMonthly review of Kaizen reporting for accuracy findings and identifying enhancements to reduce any errors across MIFID II, EMIR EU, EMIR UK, SFTR and ASICManaging and prioritizing the open items development list with the Technology teamEscalation of issues to legal and compliance when interpretation is requiredReview of complex exceptions and breaks and providing resolutionPerforming EMIR Errors and Omissions Calculations and analysisResponding to client queries and regulatory requestsMonthly/Quarterly data integrity checksReview of pairing and matching and working with brokers to reduce breaks on reconciled fieldsWorking directly with regulatory vendors and attending service callsCross-training on BAU processesKeeping abreast of industry/regulatory developments and market trends that can impact the business model and/or offer opportunities to improve our internal processesWhat you will bringDegree level is preferred but not essentialRelevant experience in regulatory reportingGood product knowledge across all Credit Products (Bonds, Futures, Options, Derivatives) (Equities is not required).Knowledge of EMIR Refit regulatory reporting is essentialKnowledge of SFTR would be beneficialKnowledge of MIFID II Transaction T+1 regulatory reporting is desired but not essentialKnowledge of MIFID II Post Trade reporting is desired but not essentialExperience with using Unavista is desired but not essentialProject Management skills are desiredStrong organization, communication and time management skillsAble to multi-task and absorb information across a broad spectrum of products.Strong analytical & problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and deliver resultsSolid understanding & appreciation of business risk & operational controlsWhat will set you apart?Knowledge of Blackrock’s Aladdin system would be advantageousKnowledge of UnaVista / DTCC repositoriesFamiliar with Business Requirement Documentation (BRD)Ideal candidate would come from an operations, regulatory or change management backgroundExcellent attention to detail, accuracy and completenessStrong critical thinking and logic skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills on all levelsEmbraces and encourages change and developmentMaintains high level of productivity and self-directionAdvanced ExcelKnowledge of STFR would also be advantageous*PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement.
