Join one of the UK’s most recognised and trusted brands in greeting cards and gifting. We’re looking for a proactive and commercially astute Business Development Manager to join our Independent Sales Division at UK Greetings, ideally based in North Yorkshire (with regular national travel).

The role

As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving new business across the UK’s independent retail and garden centre market – combining national reach with hands‑on, relationship‑led selling. You’ll lead a small regional team, develop commercial opportunities and represent a brand that’s synonymous with quality, creativity and reliability.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and win new business with independent retailers, garden centres and multi‑site groups.
  • Present high‑impact proposals to retail buyers and decision‑makers.
  • Create and deliver sales strategies that drive growth and market share.
  • Lead and develop two Sales Executives, guiding them to achieve ambitious regional targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account success.
  • Provide feedback and insight to shape future commercial strategy.
