The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Staysure Legends Tour & HotelPlanner Tour. We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and play a key role in delivering standout campaigns and strategies across our global events portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead the planning and delivery of event marketing campaigns across the UK and Europe, driving ticket sales, audience growth, and commercial performance. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, managing campaigns, projects, and people to bring our events to life.
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will:
- Lead Event Marketing Strategy & Delivery
- Lead Event Marketing activity and planning across the UK and Europe, ensuring consistent, creative, data-driven and high-quality campaign delivery.
- Shape the event marketing strategy alongside the Head of Marketing and Marketing Managers, including objectives, budgets, agency model and approach.
- Drive creative, data-led campaigns that deliver measurable commercial results.
- Balance hands-on campaign ownership with oversight of wider team output.
- Manage and Develop the Team
- Manage and support event marketing team, providing clear direction, challenging thinking, and bring wider business context into planning.
- Build strong collaboration and effective ways of working across the function and across the wider Tour.
- Drive Campaign Innovation & Performance
- Evolve our 360° marketing approach, including audience targeting, channel planning and go-to-market strategy.
- Identify new promotional opportunities such as influencers, partnerships and local activations.
- Work closely with Insights team to review reporting frameworks and testing plans, to ensure future campaigns are optimized and insights are actionable.
- Lead Projects & Cross-Functional Workstreams
- Manage key marketing workstreams across multiple events (e.g. influencer strategy, hospitality marketing, content and merchandise promotion).
- Collaborate with Championship Management, Premium Experience, Brand and wider Marketing teams to ensure aligned and impactful delivery.
- Collaborate with agencies to develop impactful creative assets, PR ideas and campaign, including reviewing content strategy and agency model.
- Contribute to Wider Marketing Initiatives
- Contribute to cross-functional marketing projects that support broader commercial, audience and brand growth objectives.

- Experience working with agencies, including briefing creative and media partners.
- Strong understanding of digital and offline marketing channels, including email and paid media.

- Experience managing people, projects or agencies.
