PG Global is recruiting a Process Engineer for a leading chemicals manufacturer to focus on designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining industrial processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Optimising plant operations and process efficiency
  • Developing P&IDs and HAZOP studies
  • Analyse production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
  • Reduce waste, energy consumption, and production costs through lean methods and Six Sigma tools
  • Implement automation and digitalization strategies for smart manufacturing
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure processes run smoothly
  • Identify bottlenecks, process deviations, or quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Use root cause analysis (RCA) techniques for recurring process problems
  • Supporting plant commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from concept to implementation
  • Create and update process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Select appropriate equipment, technology, and materials for production
