PG Global is recruiting a Process Engineer for a leading chemicals manufacturer to focus on designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining industrial processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Optimising plant operations and process efficiency
- Developing P&IDs and HAZOP studies
- Analyse production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Reduce waste, energy consumption, and production costs through lean methods and Six Sigma tools
- Implement automation and digitalization strategies for smart manufacturing
- Monitor daily operations to ensure processes run smoothly
- Identify bottlenecks, process deviations, or quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Use root cause analysis (RCA) techniques for recurring process problems
- Supporting plant commissioning and troubleshooting
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from concept to implementation
- Create and update process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Select appropriate equipment, technology, and materials for production
