An Opportunity has opened up for a Floorhand in Aberdeen. As the Floorhand you are responsible for supporting drilling operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety on the rig floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in connecting and disconnecting drill pipes, casings, and other equipment.
- Operate tongs, catwalks, and other rig machinery under supervision.
- Maintain proper handling of drilling fluids, mud, and other materials.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain rig tools, pipes, and machinery.
- Lubricate and service equipment as directed by senior personnel.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Report hazards, equipment malfunctions, or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Participate in emergency drills (fire, blowout, or evacuation procedures).
