The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Working responsibly and safely in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Management System
  • Working in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System
  • Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
  • Reading and understanding Material Schedules
  • Reading and understanding Quality Plans
  • Goods inwards inspection in line with the Company’s procedures
  • Material certification review and approval in line with the Company’s procedures
  • Stock control and approval in line with the Company’s procedures
  • In process and final inspections of equipment using tapes, micrometres, vernier callipers and Faro Arm (training provided), and the creation of inspection reports
  • Equipment Calibration in line with the Company’s procedures
  • Producing dimensional and other related QC reports in line with the Company’s procedures
  • Assisting the Production Manager and QC Engineer during equipment manufacture and quality related matters
  • A strong understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • General understanding of pressure equipment manufacture (pressure vessels and heat exchangers)
  • General understanding and working knowledge of materials
  • Experience with quality/environmental/safety management standards such as ISO 9001:2015
  • Experience in manufacturing and inspection of equipment
  • Ability to use inspection tools and equipment
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail

A full driving licence is required for this role. Knowledge of the industry is preferred but not essential — training will be provided.
