The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Working responsibly and safely in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Management System
- Working in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System
- Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
- Reading and understanding Material Schedules
- Reading and understanding Quality Plans
- Goods inwards inspection in line with the Company’s procedures
- Material certification review and approval in line with the Company’s procedures
- Stock control and approval in line with the Company’s procedures
- In process and final inspections of equipment using tapes, micrometres, vernier callipers and Faro Arm (training provided), and the creation of inspection reports
- Equipment Calibration in line with the Company’s procedures
- Producing dimensional and other related QC reports in line with the Company’s procedures
- Assisting the Production Manager and QC Engineer during equipment manufacture and quality related matters
- A strong understanding of health and safety requirements
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- General understanding of pressure equipment manufacture (pressure vessels and heat exchangers)
- General understanding and working knowledge of materials
- Experience with quality/environmental/safety management standards such as ISO 9001:2015
- Experience in manufacturing and inspection of equipment
- Ability to use inspection tools and equipment
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Keen attention to detail
- A full driving licence is required for this role.
- Knowledge of the industry is preferred but not essential — training will be provided.
