Purpose of Role
As part of the Commercial Finance organization, the Senior BFC Partner’s role is to be accountable for working collaboratively with a range of colleagues and stakeholders to ensure that the established Business Finance deliverables required by Local and Regional Finance teams are produced on time and to the required level of quality and detail, by executing BFC processes. In addition, the Senior BFC Partner will support the continuous improvement of Business Finance processes & interactions, ensuring these are executed as designed. The role-holder will bring Business Finance expertise to a delivery-focused role that supports Commercial Finance and drives overall business metrics & success.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, preparation and completion of all defined BFC deliverables for assigned markets with particular focus on OP / forecast baseline projection, successful submissions in Lighthouse and standard financial slide preparation.
- Provide information, metrics and insight to Local and Regional finance colleagues to support and inform planning, decision making, performance reviews and other key discussions and interactions through accurate historical data collection, revenue trend analysis and cost validation.
- Work with BFC and Local / Regional Finance colleagues as required to ensure deliverables are produced and completed as defined within BFC processes.
- Act as point of contact / escalation for specific Local Finance colleagues, providing information and responding to requests as required.
- Actively build relationships within Local Finance Teams, so that their challenges and needs and the business context they work in is alignment within the BFC.
- Handle and complete any urgent / exception requests received within agreed timelines.
