The GH&B International Finance Lead is responsible for an organization with revenues in excess of $2B across 120 markets, 300 products supporting over 100 million patients. This role will be an integral part of the corporate initiative to stand up GH&B as a fully integrated organization within Pfizer from manufacturing to patient delivery, maximizing value at each step of the process. Your financial leadership will ensure we deliver impactful, life‑changing medicines to all the patients we serve—by enabling sound investment decisions, prioritizing strategic opportunities, and safeguarding the performance of a highly visible $2B+ portfolio. In this role, your work will directly support product access, innovative go‑to‑market models, and sustainable growth with improved IBTA across key GH&B markets.
As Senior Director, Finance, you will lead the financial strategy and business partnership for the Global Hospital & Biosimilars Business International. With responsibility for more than $2B in annual revenue, this role sits at the intersection of commercial performance and enterprise strategy.
Member of the GH&B International leadership team serving as the key business partner to the GH&B International Commercial Lead for a complex, product portfolio totaling $2B+ in annual revenue. Shape and influence commercial and investment strategy, partnering with international and global leaders to guide prioritization, price optimisation, resource allocation, and business development decisions. Collaborate with commercial and cross‑functional leaders to assess, execute and manage the portfolio, including financial modelling for market/product optimisation through SKU rationalisation or selective prioritisation on market basis. Lead planning and forecasting cycles, in partnership with shared commercial finance resources, to deliver forward‑looking insights and proactively flag risks and opportunities across the portfolio. Drive adoption of predictive analytics within the portfolio, and partner with other functions to embrace simplification of process and calendar. Design and oversee performance dashboards, KPI tracking, and narrative reporting to support strategic reviews and operational excellence. Drive financial rigor and discipline while enabling innovation and speed in go‑to‑market execution. Collaborate with global finance stakeholders on Treasury, Tax, and enterprise‑wide finance modernization efforts. Support scenario planning and long‑range financial modelling for margin enhancement initiatives. Ensure strong internal controls and financial governance across all areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Must‑Have
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field including Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience managing cluster, region and/or multi‑country portfolios.
- Experience with different go‑to‑market models e.g. Distribution, or risk sharing.
- Proven track record of supporting senior commercial leaders in strategy development, P&L management, and investment decision‑making.
- Strong analytical, business modelling, and storytelling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and controls.
- Experience navigating complex, matrixed global organizations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in finance, business, or related disciplines strongly preferred.
- Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA), based on location.
- Prior experience in regional or global roles supporting marketed product portfolios or launches.
- Experience in both commercial and manufacturing finance environments.
