In keeping with Pfizer’s purpose to deliver breakthroughs that change patients’ lives, Commercial Operations is responsible for enabling a transformational go-to-market model.
As a result, a new role has been created to enable compliant and efficient samples management in EU sampling markets as well as serving as a resource for all International sampling markets. This role will enable standardization and compliance in samples management while driving quality, consistency, efficiencies, and reduce redundancies through delivery expertise. The Samples Management CoE Lead will enable the compliant and efficient distribution of samples.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the compliant distribution of samples (also called Starters) through Sales Reps or Direct to HCPs through virtual platforms, with a focus on sampling EU markets and serving as a resource for all international sampling markets.
- Drives operational standardization efforts to maximize efficient delivery and maintenance.
- Has deep expertise in sampling processes and serves as a resource to MCD and Commercial and Medical colleagues in compliant sampling processes.
- Partner with MCD leadership and local MCD colleagues to ensure the samples management service catalog is being delivered upon, including demand forecasting, catalog setup and ordering, allocation setup and management, training, operational oversight, vendor management, and inventory, reporting and compliance monitoring with a focus on sampling EU markets and provide expertise to MCD colleagues as needed to other sampling markets outside of the EU.
- Ensure operations enables compliant sample distribution that aligns to the Global Samples Policy, external regulations, local SOPs and Work Instructions, and Commercial strategy.
- Drive centralization of enabling sampling activities as appropriate with the GOSC.
- Drive sampling platform enhancements and remediation as necessary to ensure that commercial sampling strategies can be efficiently and compliantly executed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA / BS Required.
- Demonstrable expert knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical functions like marketing or operations, or comparable.
- Extensive experience with sample management.
- Global / Regional experience in working with different markets that span various cultures, languages, and time zones.
- Proven track record of delivering business performance in a matrixed environment.
- Experience working in audits and serving as the primary POC for auditors.
- Drive for optimization/excellence.
- Delivery of exceptional customer services and experiences.
- Track record for helping enable a strong culture.
- Strong ability to drive collaboration and foster highly productive cross-functional relationships.
- Demonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in expedited timelines.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills with the ability to influence teams.
