- Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinic Trainer and Senior Laser & Skin Therapist to play a key role in both delivering exceptional client treatments and developing our clinical team.
The ideal candidate must have experience with aesthetic and laser treatments, providing luxury experience and exceptional customer service.
This hybrid role is ideal for someone who wants to continue treating clients while also delivering treatment and product training to our team.
The training element of this role is integral to our business.
It extends beyond delivering our comprehensive induction programme and plays a pivotal role in the ongoing development of treatment protocols, product knowledge, clinical standards and team expertise.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience delivering advanced skin and aesthetic treatments, ideally within a skin clinic and/or luxury spa/medical-aesthetic environment.
Qualifications
- UK NVQ Level 4 minimum or equivalent qualification such as CIBTAC or CIDESCO in Beauty Therapy/Advanced Aesthetics. Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent).
- Previous training or assessor qualification (e. g.
Train the Trainer, VTCT Level 3/4 Certificate in Education or equivalent) or demonstrable experience in a training environment is essential.
- Technical Expertise
- Extensive practical knowledge of advanced dermal treatments and aesthetic devices, including lasers, radiofrequency, microneedling, LED and similar technologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of cosmeceuticals, active ingredients and product formulations.
- Excellent knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology and common pathologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in both treatments and training.
- Desirable: A good understanding of nutrition, hormonal and lifestyle factors and their relationship to skin health.
- Training, Coaching & Development
- Experience in designing, delivering and evaluating both practical and theoretical training programmes for therapists.
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring and developing team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth and confidence in both technical and client-facing skills.
- Ability to assess competency, track progress and maintain consistently high standards across the team.
- Comfortable working with training materials, treatment protocols, technical documentation and device manuals.
- Communication & Professionalism
- Excellent written and spoken English with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Immaculately presented, professional and well-spoken.
- Confident in building, maintaining and retaining client relationships, demonstrating exceptional customer service standards.
