Functional Assessor – PIP (Personal Independence Payment - L4)

Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and interviews to understand the claimant’s disability, condition, or illness and how it affects everyday activities.
- Carry out detailed assessments through telephone, video, or face‑to‑face appointments.
- Analyse information critically to create accurate, concise reports.
- Interpret clinical information and evidence.
- Maintain professional standards in written communication and adherence to code of conduct.
- Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists or Paramedics).
- Broad clinical knowledge.
- Experience using computer software including Microsoft Office.
Essential Qualifications
- Nurses: Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only) and Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN).
- Physiotherapists/OTs: Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist, Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT’s (COT).
- Paramedics: BSc or Qualified Paramedic and Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Salary & Employment
- £40,000.00 per annum.
- Permanent (Hybrid) full‑time – 40 hours per week inkomen Mon to Fri, 8:30am – 5pm. ക്കെള്
