Salary: £40,000.00
Type: Permanent Hybrid role (minimum 3 days per week at your local assessment centre, with the option to work more on site if preferred)
Full time: 40 hours (Mon - Fri from 8:30am - 5pm)
Location: Colchester. (You MUST be located within a 90-minute radius of the site to be considered for this role)
As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face. You will carry out detailed assessments through telephone, video, or face-to-face appointments to understand how a claimant's disability, condition, or illness affects their ability to carry out everyday activities in a respectful, fair, and reassuring manner.
With proven experience of working within a medical background you will:
- Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports.
- Interpret clinical information and evidence.
- Maintain professional standards in written communication and adherence to code of conduct.
- Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.

- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (listed below)
- An ability to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge.
