Our roles offer you the chance for a change of direction from the standard healthcare professional role, whilst providing you the opportunity to maintain and develop your clinical registration, skills, and knowledge. We have great opportunities for development and progression within PFAS including Clinical Coaching, Training Roles, and Clinical Support Managers.
As a Functional Assessor you will work autonomously to assess the cases of people who are applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit as part of the DWPs Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports.
Position Salary: Β£40,000.00
Type: Permanent
Full time: 40 hours
Responsibilities Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports.
Interpret clinical information and evidence.
Maintain professional standards in written communication and adherence to code of conduct.
Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.
Requirements We would love to hear from you if you have:
A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (listed below).
An ability to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge.
Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office.
Essentials Qualifications (without these your application cannot be considered) Nurses Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only)
Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
Physios/OTs Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist
Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT\’s (COT)
Paramedics BSc or Qualified Paramedic
Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
