Role snapshot: The Client Director will drive revenue growth through deployment of our services with UK mortgage lending banks and oversee all commercial activities with lenders. This includes leading sales with assigned Tier 1 and Tier 2 lenders, defining strategy, mapping relationships and ensuring internal advocacy and support.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets. Deliver personal targets for revenue on volumes and new customer onboarding.
- Leadership: Model behaviours to inspire and motivate junior team members across functions.
- Strategy Development: Support the company's growth strategy and develop go-to-market plans for new products and services.
- Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive loyalty and long-term success.
- Revenue Expansion: Identify and explore new channels and opportunities for revenue growth.
- Forecasting: Qualify and validate sales and revenue forecasts, categorise and track opportunities.
- Collaboration: Align with other departments on goals and execution plans.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for revenue-related activities.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to revenue generation and market competition.
Skills & Experience Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in revenue-generating roles with sales targets; at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Market knowledge: Existing relationships and track record of technology (SaaS) sales to senior stakeholders in UK banks and the property market; mortgage and payments domain knowledge desirable.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams; familiarity with Miller Heiman sales methodology and Salesforce CRM desirable.
- Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and lead generation.
- Customer Success: Experience in developing and implementing customer success strategies.
- Business Development: Ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
- Analytical Skills: Data-driven decision making.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication with negotiation ability.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate complex client stakeholder structures.
