Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager for the Conveyancer Sales team, you will foster collaboration across the conveyancing industry and community. Your primary responsibility is to drive the adoption of the PEXA platform by law firms, to streamline property transactions. You will lead sales efforts independently within your geographical area while working alongside a national team of BDMs.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and deliver on the sales strategy within the conveyancing sector, driving adoption of the PEXA platform.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including law firms and CMS providers, within your location.
- Work independently and as part of the national sales team to spearhead sales initiatives.
- Implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, integration, and customer success.
- Track, analyse, and report on sales performance metrics, presenting insights and strategic recommendations to your people leader.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape to engage the market and inform sales strategy.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in a sales role within the conveyancing, legal, or proptech sectors, or a conveyancing solicitor looking to transition into a sales role.
- Strong knowledge of property transactions and conveyancing processes in the UK.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience working with technology platforms and driving digital adoption.
- Highly motivated, self‑sufficient, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving market.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders both within and outside the organisation.
- Willingness to travel across your geographical area and nationwide as required.
