We are a leading provider of tech in the property sector - founded in 2003, our product focus has been our conveyancer two-sided marketplace, connecting consumers with a range of quality conveyancers to choose from at competitive prices via our easy-to-use tech platform. We are now building out our ecosystem so consumers can benefit from our services either via their Estate Agent or their Mortgage Broker, through smarter conveyancing platforms, making the home buying or selling process easier, quicker, safer and more transparent.

We are seeking a commercially minded, hands-on finance leader who can combine operational excellence with strategic impact. This person will strengthen financial control, reporting and performance analysis, whilst supporting long term growth of the business. A strong track record of team development would be a real asset!

  • Manage and provide leadership to the ULS, Amity Law and Legal Eye finance team (4 in total), ensuring daily operations run smoothly whilst driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage the financial systems, procedures, risks and control environment to ensure adherence to policies, reporting & project deadlines and statutory requirements.
  • Lead timely and accurate delivery of monthly reporting deliverables including monthly management accounts, KRI reporting, half-yearly & annual accounts.
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational finance processes, identifying inefficiencies, implementing automation solutions and standardizing workflows to enhance accuracy, scalability and cross functional collaboration.
  • To act as deputy to Head of Finance and Administration (HOFA) for Amity Law.
  • Qualified Accountant with 5+ years post qualification industry experience in FinTech, PropTech ideally.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at Executive level.
  • Demonstrable experience with regulated environments (SRA, CLC & FCA a definite advantage) and related policies, processes and reporting requirements.
  • Prior experience in leading & building high performing finance team.
  • Proven ability to maintain a low-risk, compliant, “no surprises” Finance function with straightforward policies and procedures.
  • Proven ability to understand key financial and business variables in a complex and changing commercial environment.
