Responsibilities
- As the Plant’s subject matter expert (SME) providing technical assistance in all body joining matters (welding, adhesives & sealants)
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams to identify technical bottlenecks and provide technical solutions
- Working with production to improve weld efficiency and quality
- Improving adhesive performance and anti-corrosion aspects
- Liaising with CCRW
- Training Maintenance personnel
- Supporting Body shop engineering as part of a multi-functional team
- Supporting model launch and engineering change programmes
Qualifications
- Be a time-served Electrical/Mechanical/Multi-Skilled engineer
- Have a HNC qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate others
- Effective work / time management skills
- Good communication skills at all levels
