ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time role for a Trainee Electrical Building Services Design Engineer at Pettit Singleton Associates in Cumbria. The role involves working with the senior engineer on client projects from concept to completion, being the technical assistant Electrical Engineer on the project, producing detailed technical designs, creating detailed reports and other designer and office duties. There is progression for this role for the right person to develop into an Intermediate Engineer and then up to Senior and Principal Engineer.
REQUIREMENTS
- A genuine interest in Engineering, Building Services and the Built Environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willing to travel to work in client sites across the UK
- An open mind and a willingness to learn
DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience within the Healthcare and Education sectors
- Experience working within a consultancy environment
- Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Revit, MagiCAD
