Pettigrew Recruitment Group is absolutely delighted to showcase this exciting opportunity for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join a growing business specialising in the refurbishment of social housing stock across Scotland. Following a successful tender process they are looking to hire a new member of staff to oversee a new project in Perth due to commence early 2025. Our client is committed to transforming communities and improving lives of local people as as a result of a recent contract award in Perth, they are looking too add a Tenant Liaison Officer to their site team to deliver this flagship refurbishment programme of works. As Tenant Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for working with residents regarding the works being completed to their homes, working to ensure smooth communication links between tenants and contractors and ultimately manage the tenant’s experience through this period of improving works. Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out Customer Care Introduction calls and build rapport from the outset of the project. * Visit and liaise with customers to ensure access is available to site teams ensuring completion of works to the required timescales. * Attending & chairing (as required) weekly construction meetings. * Regular site visits to carry out spot checks of the properties in build to inspect the quality of construction, to review build progress and to maintain good working relationships. * Manage own diary to ensure all properties are inspected in line with predicted completion dates. To excel and be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will have: * Previous experience working in housing whether this be local authority / housing association and have knowledge and experience working with tenanted properties. * Client Facing Exposure. * The ability to deal with challenging conditions in a professional and calm manner. * The ability to communicate in a clear and confident manner. * Experience of technical and software packages such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
