Senior Site Manager – Dundee

Are you a proven, experienced Senior Site Manager in the Dundee area with experience in both residential development and apartment schemes?


We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead delivery on a high-profile mixed residential scheme comprising both refurbishment and new build apartments.


About the Role:


The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery in line with programme, design, and budget requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities for both refurbishment and new build elements.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones.
  • Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Design Teams to coordinate works.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and cost, reporting regularly on performance.
  • Lead site meetings and maintain clear communication across all levels of the project team.
  • Drive high standards of workmanship, presentation, and compliance.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on residential projects, ideally including apartment developments and refurbishment schemes.
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, health & safety, and quality control.
  • Ability to manage complex logistics within live or constrained sites.
  • A background in managing mixed-use or multi-block developments will be advantageous.
  • Relevant construction qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid).
