Are you an experienced Project Manager in the housebuilding industry and enjoy working in a fast paced environment? We are delighted to be showcasing this fantastic Project Manager opportunity within the housing and property market. This time for one of the country’s largest house builders operating across east central Scotland.
As Project Manager you will be overseeing a development right at the forefront of sustainable housebuilding innovation for the business. The expectation is that you will take on this existing development at an early stage of construction in Stirling and take it through to completion. This mixed development is high profile and is one that the business has invested significant resources into. With staff compound facilities in excellent shape and a really strong network of subcontractors working hard on this week in week out.
Reporting to a Contracts Manager, typical day to day site duties will include:
- Management of all site activity day to day (labour and sub contractor coordination).
- Responsibility for driving the programme and delivering quality products for customers.
- Providing first class customer service through walk arounds / handovers.
- Responsibility for all health and safety related activity on site.
- Proactive mentoring of Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager on site.
We are looking for candidates who are goal focused, methodical thinkers. Someone who enjoys the hustle of a busy and fast paced site and has the enthusiasm to drive a tight programme! A proven track record delivering new build homes (particularly timberkit flats) is a must, given the nature and pace of this role. Up to date CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates are also required to be considered for this position.
