Are you a capable and organised Administrator in the Perth area ready to join a growing local business where you can really make an impact? Pettigrew Recruitment is delighted to be working with this specialist engineering company who provide bulk material handling and storage systems to industrial clients across the UK. They design, manufacture and install bespoke solutions including conveyors, silos and process handling equipment for sectors such as distilling, biomass and food production.

As their workload continues to grow, they are looking to introduce a dedicated Administrator to support the day to day running of projects and help bring additional administrative support to a busy technical office.

The Role: This is a varied and important role within a small collaborative team. You will support engineers and project staff by organising information, coordinating communication and keeping projects moving. The position will suit someone who enjoys being relied upon, takes pride in organisation and likes understanding how work fits together rather than simply completing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing project documentation and updating records.
  • Coordinating incoming enquiries and directing them appropriately.
  • Supporting engineers with paperwork, orders and project administration.
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and clients where required.
  • Scheduling deliveries, site visits and installations.
  • Maintaining job files and tracking project progress.
  • General office administration and communication support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Highly organised and dependable.
  • Comfortable communicating with both technical staff and clients.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office systems.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn the business.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within construction, engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience coordinating jobs, orders or project paperwork.
  • Experience supporting a technical or operational team.

Why Join: This business genuinely likes to invest in its people. You’ll enjoy:

  • A 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off).
  • Private healthcare.
  • Hands-on, approachable leadership.
  • Quick decision-making and a culture where your voice counts.
  • Career progression as the company continues to grow.
  • Pension, overtime opportunities, training support.
  • Company performance-related bonus.
