The Role:
As a Learning & Development Trainer, you will deliver engaging, high-quality learning programmes across the construction and built environment sector. You’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of industry talent, supporting learners, facilitating workshops and ensuring consistently high programme standards. This role is ideal for someone from a construction, engineering or built environment background who is looking to transition into training, with full support and structured development provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging programme workshops using accelerated learning techniques.
- Support learners throughout their development journey.
- Plan, deliver and review workshops to meet quality standards.
- Shadow experienced Trainers before progressing to independent delivery.
- Support the preparation and delivery of team development days.
- Attend pre-start, progress review and close-off meetings.
- Collaborate with materials and creative design teams to enhance workshop resources.
- Manage your own diary and communications to align with a 4-day working week.
As part of the wider delivery team, you will also:
- Chair project team meetings following workshops.
- Issue documentation to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide structured feedback to the Delivery Manager.
- Identify potential sales opportunities through programme delivery.
- Work closely with the Creative Design Coordinator to continuously improve learning materials.
