The Role: As Contracts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving build quality, programme performance, and team development across the Aberdeen region as their presence expands in this market. Working as part of a well-supported regional leadership team, you’ll ensure that sites are running safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship and professional support to Site Managers, conducting formal and informal development sessions.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and internal standards across all sites.
  • Assist in the tender and selection of subcontractors, and monitor performance in partnership with the commercial team.
  • Oversee resourcing and mobilisation for site start-up and ensure progress is maintained throughout the build programme.
  • Monitor plot progress and performance, addressing any issues affecting delivery.
  • Provide programme dates to support accurate forecasting and legal completions.
  • Control and monitor site costs, including labour, materials, and remedial works.
  • Maintain quality and compliance to NHBC Standards and Building Regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections and ensure defects are addressed promptly.
  • Build strong relationships with other internal departments, suppliers, and external partners.
