Pettigrew Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a highly successful and award-winning residential developer to recruit a Technical Administrator for their busy office based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a well-established technical team, supporting the delivery of new homes across a range of developments. The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills and takes pride in maintaining accuracy across multiple projects.

The Role: Reporting to the Technical Director, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Technical Department, ensuring documentation, reports and project information are maintained efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of pre-reservation and individual plot drawing packs for the sales team.
  • Collate drawing packages for electronic submissions relating to technical approvals and internal distribution.
  • Manage and maintain the company's document management systems.
  • Compile information and data for reports required by internal departments and group functions.
  • Print, distribute and manage drawing packages for tender and construction purposes.
  • Provide general administrative and secretarial support including document preparation, spreadsheet management and reception cover when required.
  • Arrange meetings, coordinate diaries and support departmental scheduling.
  • Monitor, record and update consultant Professional Indemnity Insurance information.
  • Maintain and update project files and technical documentation.
  • Liaise effectively with site-based and office-based teams to support project delivery.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous administration experience within an office environment.
  • Experience within a technical, construction, engineering or housebuilding environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • A proactive and professional approach with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
