Project Planner Location: Sauchen, Aberdeen Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: Available on request Are you an experienced Planner, Logistics Coordinator or Project Coordinator looking for a role where you can really influence how projects are delivered? Our client is a well-established housebuilder with a busy timber frame operation in Sauchen, and due to continued growth they are looking to appoint a Project Planner to join their production team. This is a key role at the heart of the operation. You’ll be the link between the factory, site teams, customers, suppliers and hauliers, making sure projects are planned properly, deliveries arrive when they should, and everyone has the information they need to keep things moving. The Role: Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll take ownership of project planning and delivery coordination across a busy programme of timber frame projects. You’ll be responsible for: Maintaining and updating production and delivery schedules, including the master factory programme. Coordinating deliveries between factory and site and arranging transport. Liaising with customers, Contracts Managers, suppliers and hauliers to confirm delivery dates. Reviewing site access, unloading requirements and delivery logistics. Making sure all site-specific information is correct and up to date. Monitoring progress and adjusting plans when programmes or site conditions change. Ensuring site teams have the correct drawings and information at the right time. Identifying potential clashes, delays and delivery risks before they become problems. Attending internal planning and project meetings. Supporting procurement and materials coordination where required. Helping resolve shortages, damages and other site-related delivery issues. What We’re Looking For: You’ll ideally have experience in planning, logistics or coordination within construction, manufacturing or a similarly fast-paced environment. Timber frame experience would be a real advantage, but it is not essential. More importantly, you’ll be someone who is: Highly organised. Comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities. Confident speaking with customers, site teams, suppliers and transport providers. Proactive and solution-focused. Able to stay calm when programmes change. Happy working in a busy environment where no two days are quite the same. Why Consider It? This is a great opportunity to join a growing business in a role where you’ll have genuine responsibility and visibility across the full project lifecycle. You’ll work closely with senior management and play an important part in improving programme efficiency, delivery performance and the overall customer experience.
